Embracing Loving Support

The hardest part about accepting loving support is that for us to fully internalize it, we must acknowledge the pain of the times when we did not receive that support.

If we are naturally givers, it may be easier to feel the warm feelings when we give to another.

However, receiving may be more difficult.

To fully embrace the gift of receiving requires emotional honesty and openness.

To feel the joy and warmth of support, we must come face to face with the vulnerability and pain of the times where support was not given in the way it was needed.

For us to connect and attract the blessing of support into our life, we must grieve the loss of the emotional support we didn’t have.
