About Dovi
Dovi Mendelow, RCSWI, EMDR, Trauma, Addiction, and ADHD Specialist
Welcome!
It takes courage to begin the journey of self-work, and I want to commend you for taking this important first step.
Whether you are working through negative thoughts, destructive habits, challenges with self-worth, trauma, addiction, ADHD, relationships, or difficult life decisions, my priority is to provide you with a safe, supportive environment where you can express yourself freely. Whatever you may be facing, you will be heard, understood, and respected in a non-judgmental and confidential space.
I believe every person is inherently worthy of becoming their best and most authentic self. Yet, along life’s journey, many people become discouraged, disconnected, or weighed down by experiences that cause them to forget this truth. As a therapist, I use a trauma-informed, integrative approach that draws on evidence-based modalities to guide clients back toward wholeness, confidence, and pride in who they are.
As a trained EMDR therapist, I work with clients who feel stuck in the aftermath of trauma, helping them process, reframe, and move forward from painful experiences. I also draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Psychodynamic, and Narrative Therapy to help clients release burdens they carry from external or self-authored stories rooted in shame, fear, or trauma. Together, we work to rewrite your story into one that harmonizes and empowers all parts of you, creating a more unified and fulfilling life.
In our sessions, I emphasize practical tools and skills that support growth both inside and outside the therapy room. My collaborative, client-centered approach is rooted in compassion, curiosity, and respect for your unique journey. Please schedule a free consultation at the link below to get started.
